Executive Chairman – Simon Taylor
A Business Management graduate, Simon began his working life in product management, firstly at Toshiba Information Systems and then Cable & Wireless where he met Nick Razey, his long-time business partner.
In 1995, Simon and Nick were part of the founding team of Interoute Telecommunications. The company was sold in 1999 and Simon went on to found a number of other businesses including Telecom FM, N Quire and Saiph Communications, which focuses on IP telephony and convergence.
CEO – Nick Razey
A physics graduate, MBA holder and chartered engineer, Nick worked at Cable & Wireless before he founded Interoute Telecommunications helping to grow the business to revenues of £200 million before leaving in 1999.
He then formed Saiph Communications as well as investing in a luxury hotel development in South America before establishing NGD with Simon Taylor.
Financial Director – Rob Edwards
A chartered accountant with more than 30 year’s experience of high level finance, Rob qualified with PWC and had a number of roles with large multi-national blue chip organisations. He has worked with Simon and Nick for the past 10 years and has been an invaluable part of a strong dynamic team.
Bill McHenry – Non Exec Director
Bill McHenry is Managing Director, Global Head of Critical Systems at JP Morgan Chase, the leading global financial services firm and one of the largest banking institutions in the United States.
Based in New York he brings over 35 years IT industry experience including a highly specialised knowledge of data centre infrastructure and facilities management. With his considerable experience of the global data centre industry and wide network of business contacts, Bill is uniquely placed to provide both incisive market-driven insight and hands-on guidance for helping shape and support NGD's ongoing growth strategy.
Commercial Director - Simon Bearne
An engineering graduate, Simon worked initially in fmcg at Mars Group followed by various roles at Cable & Wireless. More recently he has focussed on leading sales, marketing and commercial functions in smaller companies, most notably Claranet prior to joining NGD in 2016.
